Sportime, its Board of Consultants and CREW conduct physical education workshops throughout the United States and abroad. Over 125 per year! Each workshop offers all attending physical education professionals the opportunity to learn the most innovative teaching methods used anywhere. Lawson, her principal, said, "Under her management, guidance, participation and support of young children, physical education has soared at our school, increasing fitness scores tremendously, integrating other subject areas through movement, and integrating technology." South Brunswick Middle was awarded and recognized as a National Physical Education Demonstration School by the NC Dept. of Instruction and NASPE.

2002 National Dance Association Dance Educator of the Year

- Performed with the Tri-State Ballet Company, the Philadelphia Civic Ballet Company, the Opera Company of Philadelphia and the Minnesota Dance Theater, Zenon Dance Company as well as in the PBS video titled "Break".
